Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) to join a travel assignment team serving in Georgia. The role requires 1+ year of experience and successful completion of at least one travel assignment.

The position involves an evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, work in inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings, and uses Cerner for the EMR. Candidates with ARRT and BLS are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

ARRT certification and BLS required.
License required if applicable.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required in radiology.
At least one previous travel assignment completed successfully required
Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

Radiology department caring for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
Evening shift schedule, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
EMR system is Cerner
No call requirements
No floating requirements
Scrub color is Hunter Green
Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and other routine diagnostic procedures
Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols to deliver timely diagnostic services
Collaborate with other professionals within and outside the hospital to support effective patient care
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
