Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of specialty experience and current ARRT-R and BLS certification for a night shift assignment.

The role demands work in an adult acute care hospital, floating between the Emergency Department and Inpatient Portables, on a 3x12 night schedule. Ultrasound/trauma experience preferred; PPE protocols required.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT-R and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology/X-Ray experience
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable and Pediatric Outpatient
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Imaging procedures include abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities
• Experience with trauma imaging and age-specific competency from neonate to older adult
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Responsibilities

• X-Ray Tech unit within an adult acute care hospital setting
• Floats between Emergency Department and Inpatient Portables
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Fri 8:00 AM-8:30 PM and Sat/Sun 8:00 PM-8:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Uses PACS imaging system and C-Arm for mobile/surgical procedures
• Ceil Blue scrub color required
• Local radius of 50 miles with differential rate for local candidates
• Two references and copies of certifications required
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; time off requests after submission will not be accommodated
• PA fingerprints and Childline clearance required; labs within 48 hours of signing
• First-time travelers may be considered

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology/X-Ray specialty
• Experience required in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, and Pediatric Outpatient settings
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency with abdominal, chest, head, spine, pelvis, upper extremity, and lower extremity imaging procedures
• Experience with trauma imaging and age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, with Friday 8:00 AM-8:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday 8:00 PM-8:30 AM shifts

• Ceil Blue scrub color required
• Local radius of 50 miles applies with differential rate for local candidates
• Two valid professional references and copies of certifications required for consideration
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; time off requests after submission will not be accommodated
• PA fingerprints and Childline clearance required, with completion needed shortly after contract signing
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• First-time travelers may be considered
