Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and ARRT registration for a Radiology department assignment.

The role involves 32 hours weekly with flexible 8-hour shifts across day and evening options, including weekends and holidays. Local candidates and travel experience are preferred, with housing and licensure reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program with an Associate's Degree or equivalent military training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required.
• Current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting in an acute care hospital.
• 32 hours per week on a deferred schedule with 4 shifts of 8 hours each.
• Shift times may include 7-330, 730-4, 8-430, 12P-830P, 230-11P, or 3-1130P.
• Day shift when scheduled Monday through Friday, second shift when scheduled Saturday or Sunday.
• Weekend and holiday coverage required.
• Uses PACS and HIS/RIS systems.
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility or qualify as a local candidate at a discounted rate.
• Local candidates accepted at a discounted rate.
• Travel experience required.
