Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray for a night-shift assignment in a 202-bed regional hospital. Requires 2+ years of X-ray experience and ARRT certification.

This contract includes 13 weeks, night shifts of 10 hours, Sunday 7:30p-6a and Monday-Wednesday 8:30p-7a. 40 hours guaranteed weekly with a weekend requirement on Sundays. Travel experience and license if applicable are required, with local travelers within 35 miles considered. No on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of X-ray experience required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Travel experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Imaging Department in a 202-bed regional hospital.
• Night shift, 10-hour shifts, with Sunday 7:30p-6a and Monday-Wednesday 8:30p-7a schedule.
• 40 hours guaranteed per week.
• Weekend requirement on Sundays only.
• No on-call requirements.
• 13-week assignment.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures under general supervision.
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-ray machines.
• Position patients and capture images as ordered by physicians.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Notify physicians of exam results in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Matching scrubs required as part of dress code.
• Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment.
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
