Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification for a Trauma Level II teaching hospital. The role covers a broad range of diagnostic imaging, including trauma cases, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures, across adult and pediatric patients.

Epic EMR proficiency is required. The position offers travel, shifts, and incentives, with housing and licensure reimbursements as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and BLS (AHA) certification required.
• WI state license required if applicable.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I and teaching hospital experience preferred.
• PACS and GE/Philips/Siemens equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, PPE, and radiation safety required.
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day/evening shifts, 5x8 hours; Sunday 07:30–15:30 and Mon–Thu 07:15–03:45.
• Standby call and holiday coverage as needed.
• 13–26 week assignment options; floating as needed.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging including abdomen, chest, spine, and extremities.
• Work on trauma cases, fluoroscopy, and mobile/surgical procedures (C-arm).
• Cover adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR.

• WI state license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with PACS and GE, Philips, or Siemens equipment preferred
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Day/evening shifts, 5x8 hours, Sunday 0730-1530 and Monday-Thursday 0715-0345
• Standby call and holiday coverage as needed
• 13-26 week assignment options available
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• Performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging including abdomen/GI, upper and lower extremity, spine, chest, and head studies
• Trauma cases, fluoroscopy studies, and mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm
• Works across adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR settings
• Located within a Magnet-designated academic medical center
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria for adult and pediatric rhythm identification
• Up to two attempts allowed for telemetry exam, with a third attempt possible upon completion of a cardiac interpretation review course
• First-time travelers may be considered
