Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a Level I trauma center in Knoxville. The role requires ARRT and BLS certifications, licensure where applicable, and travel experience. OR proficiency including O-Arm is preferred, with a focus on high-volume hospital settings.

Expect night shifts on a 3x12/4x12 schedule, 80 hours biweekly, weekends, and no on-call obligations. Travel pairs are not accepted; local candidates may be offered the same rate.

Qualifications

• ARRT and BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, Level I trauma experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required.
• Extensive OR experience required, including O-Arm.
• Prefer experience in a large volume hospital.

Responsibilities

• Level I trauma center setting.
• Rotating 3x12/4x12 night shift schedule from 19:00-7:00.
• 80 hours biweekly, with 4 shifts one pay week and 3 shifts the next.
• Weekends required.
• No on-call requirement.
• Float within scope to ED, IP, OP, OR, and portables as needed.
• Uses Siemens and GE equipment.
• Two professional references required, preferably from previous travel assignments.
• Holiday RTO kept to a minimum.
• Travel pairs not accepted.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Previous staff eligible to return.
