American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging role in Needham, MA. The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, Massachusetts radiologic license, and EPIC EMR proficiency, with 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience.

The position requires ability to perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, adherence to safety standards, and willingness to work an 8-hour rotating shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) across a 24-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (Radiography) required if applicable.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• 2+ years radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Must perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support radiology department with fluoroscopy, bone density, OR, and ER imaging.
• Work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on an 8-hour rotating shift.
• Provide radiographic procedures safely and timely for diagnoses.
• Exercise independent judgement under supervision by radiology leadership.
• Adhere to universal precautions and infection control.
• COVID vaccine and booster; flu vaccine required with exemptions allowed.
• Travelers or local residency: candidates reside >50 miles from facility.
• First-time travelers may be considered.

• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (Category: Radiography) required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Radiology department supporting Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, OR, Pain Clinic, Orthopedics, ER, and Outpatient services
• 8-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 24 hours per week
• Facility transitioning to Epic EMR in October
• Performs radiographic procedures in a safe, accurate, and timely manner to support radiologist and physician diagnoses
• Exercises independent judgement while maintaining established technical standards under direction of Chief Technologist, Chief of Radiology, Radiation Safety Officer, and Director of Radiology and Cardiology Services
• Exposure to blood and body fluids is likely; adherence to universal precautions for infection control required
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered
