Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration to perform CT imaging procedures across a range of patient ages.

The position is a 13-week assignment in a CT unit with a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston, MA are preferred; flu vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience.
• ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N).
• Massachusetts license if applicable.
• Current BLS certification (AHA only).
• Ability to insert and remove IVs.
• Knowledge of adult and older adult patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• 13-week CT assignment.
• Shift schedule: Sun, Mon, Tue, Thu 8:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Start date may be adjusted based on credentialing clearance.
• Performs CT procedures under physician oversight using ionizing radiation.
• Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic CT images.
• Follows all policies and procedures.
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions.
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston, MA.

• ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not held at hire, must be obtained within 1 year
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board - license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Ability to insert and remove IVs
• Knowledge of special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in a Cat Scan/CT unit
• Shift schedule Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• Uses Epic for charting
• Start date may be adjusted based on credentialing clearance timeline
• Performs CT procedures under the direction of a physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
• Follows federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA
