Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of core radiology experience with recent activity.
BLS certification required for all modalities.
ARRT certifications as listed for each modality.
State licensure not required in NC.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic Radiology department within a teaching hospital with Trauma Level IV designation.
182 licensed bed facility with Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designations.
Average of 325 patients per day across all modalities.
Sees a variety of diagnoses across ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient areas.
Exposure to ICU (Peds), limited fluoroscopy, and OR exams.
12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
36 standard hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle.
Weekend rotation required.
No floating required.
No on-call or call-back requirements.
Uses EPIC EMR.
Department equipment includes Siemens and GE systems.
Support provided by nursing and transport staff.
Orientation includes online NEO courses and 3-5 days of departmental training depending on modality.
Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
RTO requires manager approval.
High volume department culture with team accountability for patient-centered care.
Black scrub color required.
Free parking available.
First-time travelers will be considered.
Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position.
Radius rule requires candidates live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to work 12-hour weekend day shifts in a teaching hospital's Radiology Diagnostics department.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of core experience in the specialty area, with recent experience within the last year
BLS required for all modalities
Rad Tech: ARRT(R)
CT Tech: ARRT(R)(CT)
Dual Modality CT/DX: ARRT(R)(CT)
MRI Tech: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
US Tech: ARDMS or ARRT
Nuc Med Tech: ARRT-N or NMTCB
License required if applicable
Photo ID required during compliance process
NC State Licensure not required
Last 4 of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge title
EPIC EMR experience preferred
