Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. The role requires ARRT (R) certification, license if applicable, and at least two years of diagnostic radiology experience, including portable, OR, and ED trauma imaging.

You will work on a large 800-bed unit, use GE and Shimadzu equipment, and document in Cerner RadNet EMR. Lodging support, housing allowance, and licensure reimbursement are part of the package.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.
• Experience in portable, OR imaging and ED trauma imaging.
• Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging unit on the 2nd floor of the F tower.
• 800-bed unit with staffing varying by shift.
• Day/evening/night shift staffing details provided.
• Equipment includes GE Rad rooms, GE portables, Shimadzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms.
• Uses Cerner RadNet EMR.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with weekend rotation.
• 13-week assignment.
• Perform diagnostic imaging, portable imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopic and surgical imaging.
• Work as part of a team but can work independently.
• Self-motivated candidates preferred; black scrub attire.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Skills in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
• ED trauma imaging experience required
• Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred

• Day shift includes 16 technologists and a supervisor, evening shift includes 10 technologists, 2 student techs, and a supervisor, night shift includes 4 technologists and a supervisor

• Uses Cerner RadNet EMR
• Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with weekend rotation required
• 13-week assignment
• Perform diagnostic imaging, portable imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopic procedures, and surgical imaging
• Works as part of a team but must also be capable of working independently
• Self-motivated candidates preferred
• Black scrub attire required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
