Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Radiology Technologist for an acute care orthopedic/sports medicine hospital. Requires 2+ years of OR/PACU mobile x-ray and proficiency with multiple c-arm systems. Strong EPIC Radiant and Sectra PACS experience preferred.

Position includes varied shifts, on-call requirements, and travel-friendly housing/per diem options. ND license and ARRT certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related experience required.
BLS certification (AHA) required.
ARRT (R) certification required and must be in good standing.
Active ND state license (NDMIRT) required, or willingness to apply upon offer acceptance.
License required if applicable.
Experience with GE mobile units required.
Experience with OR and PACU mobile x-ray required.
Experience with a variety of c-arms including OEC, Phillips, and Siemens required.
Ability to understand and navigate EPIC EMR system.
Ability to ensure accurate patient positioning and implement radiation safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging on outpatients, inpatients, and urgent care patients.
Operates large and mini c-arms in the OR and Bioskills Teaching Lab.
Performs mobile x-rays on inpatients, in the OR, and PACU.
Operates a large c-arm for Pain Clinic procedures.
Uses EPIC Radiant for charting and Sectra for PACS.
Floats to the Ortho clinic, primarily ortho urgent care.
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations ensuring production of quality images according to patient cases and clinical guidelines.
Delivers patient care and education before, during, and after imaging procedures.
