Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks a Radiology Tech, Multimodality Technologist for a travel assignment in Sonora, California. The role starts 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

You will operate multiple imaging modalities, ensure safety and quality, and support emergency readiness. Requires CA radiologic license, ARRT-R, BLS, and 2+ years of experience in a Short Term Acute Care setting.

Qualifications

• License in CA or equivalent radiologic technology license.
• ARRT-R certification; CA and HI requirements apply.
• Current certification in one radiology modality; able to perform a second advanced modality.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s or higher preferred.
• 2 years of recent RT experience; 3 years preferred.
• Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care setting and meet assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, NM, and/or mammography equipment; perform at least three modalities regularly.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered imaging environment and ensure high-quality images and appropriate radiation dose.
• Safely transport and transfer patients; assist with positioning and comfort.
• Test defibrillator function and check crash cart; participate in emergency readiness as needed.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents; follow safety and protocol guidelines.
• Perform mobile imaging and document results per department standards.

• Prepare and administer contrast agents for imaging procedures; follow safety and protocol guidelines
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as required and document results in accordance with department standards

Requirements

• Radiologic Technology license in the state of practice (CA) or equivalent as applicable
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification; CA and HI requirements apply
• Current certification in one radiology modality with ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) as applicable in CA/HI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; Master’s Degree preferred
• Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; three years preferred
• Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care setting and meet assignment requirements
