Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the night shift. You will perform radiographic imaging, manage patient education, and ensure safe administration of contrast as ordered by the physician.

Requirements include ARRT registration, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, one year of experience, state licensure if required, and BLS/ CPR certification. Travel/stipend options available for certain contracts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R).
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS - CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education.
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and communicates findings as appropriate.
• Implements techniques to yield image quality and ensure equipment functionality per established radiology practices (AART).
