Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for the Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role involves weekend Day shifts, reviewing patient history, initiating CT procedures per orders, and ensuring safe administration of contrast media.

The position requires ARRT-CT registry progress and BLS certification, with licensure as applicable by state law. Local traveler opportunities and 13-week assignments are available, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in CT by ARRT.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; BLS/CPR card valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates Computed Tomography images per physician order.
• Safely administers contrast media or related imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds to and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implements techniques to yield image clarity and ensure equipment functionality per Radiology best practices (AART).
• May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results.
