Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in the Radiology department. The role requires ARRT R (T) license, BLS, and EPIC EMR proficiency. Travel experience is preferred, and 3+ years of clinical radiation therapy experience is expected.

Responsibilities include delivering prescribed treatments, verifying patient identity, interpreting imaging for alignment, and collaborating with oncologists to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience.
• EMR experience required: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately, following physician orders and established treatment protocols.
• Perform patient verification and treatment safety checks, including identity confirmation, imaging verification, and treatment timeouts.
• Acquire and evaluate treatment imaging (KV, MV, CBCT) to ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
• Review treatment plans and perform patient chart checks to identify discrepancies, maintain accuracy, and prevent treatment errors.
• Provide patient-centered care and education, while collaborating with Clienttion Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and ensure positive patient outcomes.
