Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. You will administer targeted radiation therapy to support patient care and collaborate with radiologists and oncologists.

Required: completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, one year of recent experience, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for travel professionals.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT Certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Mansioni

• Position patients for treatment with accuracy to minimize exposure to healthy tissue.
• Administer prescribed doses of radiation using therapy equipment following safety protocols.
• Perform equipment checks and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Review prescription, diagnosis, and patient chart to confirm accuracy.
• Follow radiation protection principles to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain records of dosages, equipment settings, and patient reactions.
• Conduct treatment sessions independently under physician direction.
• Enter data and adjust equipment controls as needed.
• Observe patients during treatment and report unusual reactions.
• Perform other duties within Radiation Therapist scope.
