Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The contract is 13 weeks long, with a 40-hour workweek and a 10-hour daytime shift in a hospital setting.

Candidates should have ARRT (T) certification, BLS, and an accredited Radiation Therapy degree, plus 1–2 years of experience and an Arizona license if required. Compensation is weekly and benefits are included as part of the travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• ARRT (T) certification current and active.
• BLS certification current.
• 1–2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience.
• Active state license if required by Arizona.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
