MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This contract role offers 40 hours per week with a 13-week duration within a dynamic healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and CPR, with licensure as required by your state and roughly 18 months of Radiation Therapy experience, preferably in critical care. Travel and housing arrangements are included.

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation for cancer treatments.
• Discuss treatment plans with patient in collaboration with oncologist and physician.
• Establish correct radiation dosage and target area.
• Explain potential side effects and management strategies to patients.
• Operate radiotherapy equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Foster a safe, patient-focused environment and maintain records of treatment regimens.
