TotalMed Allied in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires 40 hours weekly with 8-hour evening shifts, starting 12/07/2026.

You will deliver prescribed radiation, ensure patient comfort and safety, and coordinate with the oncology team in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, current BLS, and ARRT (T) certification; state licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (T) National Certification.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using therapy equipment.
• Position patients for each treatment session with accuracy and comfort.
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before therapy.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
• Use imaging like CT/X-ray to guide delivery of treatment.
• Document treatment details and maintain patient records.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and potential side effects.
• Inspect and calibrate therapy equipment regularly.
• Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
