Details

Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
5x8hr day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a 0700-0800 start time
Performs patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed
Uses Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems preferred
Uses MOSAIQ for electronic medical records
Facility has access to up to 36 hours of call-off during the assignment

Requirements

Active California RTT license required, if applicable
Active ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required
Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
Ability to properly setup and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy delivery
Ability to assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members

Additional Information

Prepares for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room setup, calculations, and treatment calendar programming
Works closely with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional tasks as needed
