American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic clinic. New graduates or candidates with 1+ year of experience are welcome to apply. The role involves strong Rehab Aide and Patient Experience Coordinator support.

Clinicians work with older adults, postoperative and sport-related patients, with a 12+ visits daily caseload and 55+ weekly visits. Software: NextGen EMR used for documentation, with AI-assisted real-time notes.

• Clinic hours Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8).
• Floating to other locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with strong Rehab Aide and Patient Experience Coordinator support
• Patient population includes older adults, post-operative patients, general orthopedic patients, adolescents, and sports medicine patients
• Caseload of 12+ visits per day with 90% productivity and 55+ visits per week
• Appointments scheduled every 30 minutes with an average treatment time of 60 minutes
• 5x8 schedule with clinic hours Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Documentation completed in NextGen EMR
• Floating to other locations may be required
• Supported by a team of 2 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, and 1 Patient Experience Coordinator
• Clinicians are supported by generative AI documentation scribe technology to assist with real-time compliant clinical documentation
• Business casual dress code required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity may be available for the right candidate
