Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for an orthopedic clinic open to new graduates and first-time travelers. The role focuses on outpatient orthopedics with patients served under commercial, Medicare, and workers’ compensation plans.

You'll evaluate 60-minute sessions with 30-minute follow-ups, treating about 10–11 patients daily (~50 weekly). Expect a 5x8 schedule, clinic hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Fri 7:00 AM-5:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates may be considered for the role.
• Licensure as a physical therapist is required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting serving commercial, Medicare, and workers' compensation patients.
• Patient load of 10-11 patients per day, about 50 per week.
• 60-minute evaluations with 30-minute follow-up visits and some overlap.
• 5x8 schedule with flexible options considered.
• Clinic hours Mon-Thu 7:00 AM-6:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Uses NextGen for documentation.
• No floating or on-call requirements.
• Supported by front desk staff, rehab aides, and additional PT/OT/PTA clinicians.
• Clinicians supported by AI documentation scribe technology for real-time documentation.
• Potential temp-to-perm opportunity.
• Business casual dress code.
• Open to first-time travelers.
