American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant with 1+ years of experience for an outpatient clinic setting supporting a busy orthopedic caseload (license required if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting in Alexandria, VA
• Patient population includes adolescent, adult, geriatric, and orthopedic patients
• Caseload includes Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, post-operative back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Disc Herniation, Fractures, Low Back Pain, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, Rotator Cuff injuries, SI Joint Dysfunction, TMJ Dysfunction, and Total Joint Replacement
• Patient ratios include 11+ visits per day, 90% productivity, and 55+ visits per week
• 60-minute evaluations with follow-up visits scheduled every 30 minutes and average treatment time of 60 minutes
• Uses NextGen for documentation and charting
• AM shift schedule, 5x8s, 40 hours per week
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Supports an experienced team during a maternity leave coverage period
• Staff support includes Patient Experience Coordinators and Rehab Aides
• Business casual dress code
• Clinicians supported by AI-driven documentation scribe technology for real-time, compliant clinical documentation
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available
