Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a LTAC travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. The role starts 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract in a skilled nursing facility, with a 5x8 shift from 08:00 to 16:30 and guaranteed hours.

You'll implement rehab plans, lead exercises, document progress, and collaborate with the care team. This is a travel position requiring US work eligibility and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment.
• Availability to start on 09/14/2026 and commit to 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor rehab plans for LTAC patients under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Lead therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional activities, and progression.
• Administer modalities and manual therapy as outlined by the plan of care.
• Document patient progress, goals, and updates in the chart; communicate changes to the PT and care team.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure continuity of care and safe patient handling.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and patient-centered care during all treatment sessions.
