Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations across multiple locations. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, implement individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve mobility, safety, and independence during travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Interest or experience in skilled nursing, long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.
• Willingness to travel to multiple TMC locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans designed to support recovery, safety, pain management, and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions that enhance movement, endurance and overall quality of life for adult and geriatric patients.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Track patient progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals.
