Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for nationwide 13-week assignments across diverse clinical settings. You will provide supervised physical therapy treatments to improve patients' independence while traveling as part of a flexible journey traveler program.

On assignment, you will collaborate with licensed physical therapists, attend care conferences, document services promptly, and guide patients and families in therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT aide under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, aiming to increase patient independence.
• Attend patient care conferences and meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Instruct patients and families in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintain documentation and report equipment needs.
