Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a Physical Therapist to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments. You will assess needs, develop and deliver PT programs, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the rehab team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a valid PT license and the ability to relocate or travel as needed. You will supervise PTAs and ensure timely documentation while promoting patient independence and safety across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and temporarily reside in locations outside the therapist's primary home.
• Degree(s) earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated as U.S. equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments and provide physical therapy services.
• Assess, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff as required.
• Ensure effective delivery of rehab services, complete documentation, and adhere to plan of care.
• Consult with rehab team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens and adapt plans as needed.
• Promote safety and maintain a therapeutic environment; manage supplies and equipment.
