Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. Work under PT supervision in a long-term care setting to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence. 13-week contract with guaranteed hours and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance required.
• LTAC/long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a nursing home environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document PT interventions under supervision, including therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, and functional mobility.
• Conduct gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADL) training as appropriate.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, report changes to the supervising PT, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Promote safety, infection control, and patient-centered care during all activities.
