Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Southbury, CT. This role offers a 40-hour work week, day shifts, and the chance to work in a hospital, clinic, or rehab setting while delivering patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid PT license, current BLS certification, and have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
