Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in North Haven, CT. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a dedicated clinical team.

The Physical Therapist analyzes patient impairments, develops evidence-based plans, and works across hospital and rehab settings to improve mobility and independence. Start ASAP, 40 hours/week, days.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and safety to promote recovery.
