Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Fairfield, Connecticut. This 13-week travel opportunity requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a PT degree with NPTE, and involves 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift.

You will work on-site at our client facility, receiving weekly pay, housing options, credentialing support, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro. Current state licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in the process of licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient conditions and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Develops a care plan and provides skilled PT services per physician orders.
