Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Burbank, CA. This role offers a full-time travel position with 40 hours per week, a day shift, and benefits.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, is BLS certified, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Administer PT treatments and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Maintain and calibrate PT equipment; ensure safe operation.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for community or home-based care.
