Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Project Manager for Construction Technologies. This travel-heavy position supports multiple projects from start to finish, including design, bids, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination across electrical and low-voltage systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years PM experience in construction, familiarity with project controls, vendor management, and safety standards. Extensive travel is required, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of project management experience; solid training and skills; thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
• Minimum 2 years of project management work experience in construction (electrical distribution/substation, renewable energy, or related disciplines).
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, construction methods and materials, estimating, costing, power, lighting, systems design, and OSHA regulations.
• Skills to read, interpret, and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications; strong financial, analytical skills.
• Work experience with continuous improvement methodologies and/or similar applications. Strong process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases and activities of each project to achieve high quality and productivity, including plans, quotations, bidding, budgeting, monitoring projections, and scheduling.
• Prepares and manages project documents, status reports, estimates, projections, material release schedules, client information, project schedules, purchase orders, monthly invoices, payments, closeout documents, warranties, drawings, and submittals.
• Secures subcontractors using standard subcontract agreements; obtains permits; procures materials; negotiates with vendors on pricing and availability.
• Conducts job site inspections and safety audits; stays informed of codes, safety standards, and contract conformance.
• Travel to project sites is REQUIRED, which may include temporary relocation for the duration of the project.
