Progressive Care Nurse (RN) for a facility in Hawaii. This position involves providing primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and performing procedures such as telemetry strip reading and fingerstick blood sugar checks within a 15-bed unit that includes step-down intensive care and telemetry services. The role requires a Hawaii license by the start of the assignment and is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026, with an expected end date of January 18, 2027.

Job Details

Shift: Rotating, 8 hours per shift, scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours per week following orientation.

Required Qualifications

State of Hawaii nursing license, at least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year, current PALS and NIHSS certification preferred, ACLS preferred. Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience and telemetry experience are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, fingerstick blood sugar checks experience.

Float

Float to all acute units in house, including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, ICU, and Emergency Room departments.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to start date for necessary employee health appointments. Candidates should not accept the start date if they are unable to arrive on time.
