Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in a PCU setting. The selected candidate will provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patient populations, utilizing current clinical skills and adhering to facility protocols. This role offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting, current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, and experience with patient care procedures such as cardiac telemetry, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation, and airway management
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system, prior work in a similar facility, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support teams such as respiratory, pharmacy, and social services
• Additional Information: Candidates must have current work references and recent clinical experience within the last 6 months. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities, and refusal to float may result in termination. The contract requires working three of the five recognized holidays and requesting all specific scheduling or time off upfront.
• Submission Requirements: Must respond to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility, including location and dates, and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years prior to start date.
