Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for PreOp/PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) in Springfield, IL. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and onsite facility-based work.

Required: 1 year Pre/Post-Op RN experience, current RN license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS preferred; other certifications may be required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and post-anesthesia recovery status.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and post-operative care.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient progress.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe perioperative care.
