Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 16-week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The nurse will provide post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team. Requirements include one year of PACU RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS or ENPC preferred.

Shifts are 40 hours per week during days; start date 10/12/2026. Travel pay with benefits is offered. Join a dedicated clinical team with support from Fusion recruiters.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients after anesthesia and monitor their post-anesthesia recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare providers to ensure postoperative care.
• Develop and deliver discharge instructions and patient education plans.
