Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the Operating Room in Springfield, IL. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

Travel RN duties include perioperative patient care, education, and collaboration with the OR team. Requirements include 18 months of Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as needed in the OR.
• Assist in maintaining the sterile field and managing instruments.
