Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU for a 13-week assignment in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, with responsibilities across pre-operative assessments through post-anesthesia care.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Pre/Post-Op RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. ACLS and PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively, including reviewing medical history and vitals.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and post-operative care.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients for complications and manage pain and recovery.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure comprehensive pre and post-operative care.
