MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Preoperative for a travel nursing job in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The PACU RN will support post-anesthesia recovery, monitor patients after surgery, and provide comprehensive post-operative care.

Requires active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months PACU experience. The role offers travel compensation with housing options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Active RN license required.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Eighteen months of recent PACU Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN assists patients recovering from anesthesia.
Monitors patients waking from anesthesia and during discharge or transfer.
Provides post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia (general, regional, local).
Administers ongoing assessment, intervention, and reassessment as needed.
