MedPro Staffing is seeking a Postpartum / Mother-Baby RN for a travel assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. This 13-week contract involves 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts in a travel capacity.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP) with at least 18 months of acute care Mother/Baby experience. Client facilities determine other requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Postpartum / Mother‑Baby nurse (RN) educates and assists new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period. They care for infants and educate mothers about care.

• Responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Monitors mothers in the hours following delivery to ensure proper recovery, recognizing postpartum depression and teaching mothers how to address emotions.
• Teaches new parents how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle‑feed the newborn and monitors the infant’s health.
