Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Part Time Team Member to provide outstanding customer service to travelers, operate the POS system, and help prepare and serve a variety of food offerings at our travel plazas.

You will handle cash transactions, maintain clean and organized workstations, and adhere to food safety standards while supporting in-store operations and cross-selling products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments accurately.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures (wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, temperature checks).
• Perform kitchen-related tasks (prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning).
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Adhere to brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
