Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Part Time Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain clean and stocked facilities, and handle transactions accurately across our travel plazas. You will prepare and serve quality food while supporting daily operations to meet traveler needs.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly and approachable interaction with customers.
• Cash handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service to travelers.
• Operate POS system and process payments according to policies.
• Follow proper food handling: wrap, label, date, stock, store, rotate, check temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements.
