Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Medina, Tennessee. The PTA will assist a Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain, while documenting progress and educating patients on home programs.

Applicants must hold a Tennessee PTA license and current BLS certification; graduates of accredited programs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid PTA license in Tennessee.
• BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Guide and assist patients through prescribed exercises.
• Document patient progress in medical records.
• Instruct patients/caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Coordinate with physical therapists and other clinicians.
