Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Lake City, Tennessee. The PTA will support physical therapy teams under a PT, providing hands-on exercises and patient education.

Qualifications

• Required PTA license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• English language proficiency for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document patient progress and adjustments in the medical record.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Collaborate with other clinicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
