The Fusion Medical Staffing team seeks a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Shelby, MS. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Set up therapy equipment and prepare treatment areas for sessions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and assistive devices.
• Document patient progress in the medical record accurately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
