Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Roseville, California. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence.

Responsibilities include performing therapeutic exercises, documenting patient progress, educating on home exercise programs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support recovery; benefits and travel support are

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas, ensuring devices and supplies are clean and ready for patients.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises to improve mobility, strength, and balance with hands-on assistance as needed.
• Observe patient performance and report progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
