Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Olive, NC, with a 5x8 shift from 08:00 to 16:30 and guaranteed 35 hours per week.

The role focuses on LTAC-influenced inpatient rehabilitation. You will assess, plan, implement, and adjust treatments, document outcomes, and collaborate with the care team to support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Experience in LTAC or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a corrections setting and follow facility policies.
• CPR/BLS certification recommended or required by facility policy.
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT, including assessment and progression of interventions.
• Implement and adjust PT treatment plans to address functional goals for inpatients in LTAC-influenced rehab.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Assist with patient education on mobility, strength, balance and safety to support discharge planning.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
