Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 24-week travel assignment in Fort Bragg, CA. The role is 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and a pay rate of 2420 per week.

The PTA will provide services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care. Minimum requirements include current PTA licensure in the practicing state, graduation from an accredited PTA program, and CPR if applicable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant.
• One year of prior professional PTA experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
