Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant.
• One year of prior PTA experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services, including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Follow the physician’s plan of care and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate patient progress.
